Mining Research and Development, launched in 1981, is governed by Changsha Institute of Mining Research Co., Ltd, sponsored by Changsha Institute of Mining Research Co., Ltd and the Nonferrous Metals Society of China, and published by Mining Research Journal Publishing (Changsha) co., Ltd. 

Aim: Mining Research and Development aims to contribute to the developing of mining industry and economy, supporting mining research and production, and promoting technological progress in mining.

Theme: Ecological mining and beautiful China.

Scope: It mainly publishes the research trends, scientific and technological achievements, technical information, and practical experience in metal mining, filling mining, digital mining, intelligent mining, mining safety and environmental protection engineering, as well as comprehensive utilization of mining mountains, and always maintaining and promoting professionalism, novelty and application, promoting technology and innovation in the industry of mining.
