The empirical study on factors relating to the successful ERP implementation is the effective way to improve the efficiency of ERP implementation. There are seven theoretical factors relating to the successful implementation of ERP in coal enterprises. In this paper,based on the experience data of ERP im-plementation in china’s coal enterprises,the realistic effects of the theoretical factors are verified using multiple regression analysis,and the micro-mechanism of ERP operation in coal enterprises is revealed. It is pointed out that management mechanism innovation and business process reengineering have played important roles in ERP implementation process of China’s coal enterprises at the present stage.
