Experimental study of processing mineralogy and flotation technology were made on a lead-zinc ore from Hunan,a rational and feasible reagent system and process flow for the ore were found.The results of experiments showed that a lead concen trate grade of 63.77% and recovery of 80.16% as well as a zinc concentrate grade of 58.66% and recovery of 85.81% were well obtained using preferential flotation flow sheet and the optimum reagent system and a closed circuit flow sheet consisting of one stage of crushing,three stages of cleaning and one stage of scavenging.
