According to the characters of Sandrock coal gangue having high level of silicon content and lower plasticity,technique to sinter acceptable brick using sandrock coal gangue was studied by a large number of experiments.Through analyzing chemical compositions of sandrock coal gangue and the additives,the plasticizing mechanism of different additives on the lean material,the comprehensive thermal analysis of different addition ratio of additive,the influences of additives to sandrock coal gangue sintered brick were studied.It was found that sandrock coal gangue can used to sinter brick through the optimum selection of the kind and addition ratio of the additives,and selecting feasible calcination temperature.It is a new way to utilize sandrock coal gangue as a resource.
