In order to make good use of safety investment funds for gas control of coal mine and select a reasonable investment project,based on national principles and requirements for comprehensive mine gas control,according to the practical situation of a coal mine,safety investment indexes for comprehensive gas control in the coal mine were studied by Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),and the weight of the indexes were determined.The quantitative evaluation result was used to determine the order of priority of safety fund input for coal mine gas control.The results showed that system and equipments for comprehensive gas control and mine ventilation are major factors affecting the investment decision of comprehensive gas control.The evaluation results conform to reality,which point out the direction of safety investment for coal mine gas control.
