Abstract:Spontaneous combustion is a complex physical and chemical process,in which exothermic oxidation is primary and the accumulation of oxidation heat and spontaneously generated heat makes the temperature of sulfide ore pile rise.An important physical quantity to describe the spontaneous combustion of sulfide ore pile is temperature which can reflect the degree of exothermic oxidation and spontaneous combustion of sulfide ore as well as the conditions of heat release in stope.This article has analyzed the reason of spontaneous combustion of sulfide ore in some domestic mine,and verified the effects of the stacking density and water content of ore pile,environmental wind speed and the fragment size of ore on the heat release of sulfide ore pile,proposes several measures to prevent the spontaneous combustion of sulfide ore,so as to provide help to mine production.
