The characteristics of mineral resources planning data sets have been fully researched.On this basis,considering the actual work,a workflow and method to inspect and evaluate the quality of mineral resources planning result database have been proposed.The method has well practicability.The quality characters and quality elements of the planning database are analyzed systematically,the inspected contents are determined,workflow to inspect the quality of the planning data sets is presented,the method to inspect and evaluate the quality of data in database are explained in detail.Combined with an engineering example,the application of this method in inspecting and evaluating the quality of mineral resources planning result database is introduced.
