Xinzhou surface collapse area in Gaofeng mining area was assessed as "an area with serious potential safety problems" in China.The comprehensive treatment of the surface collapse area is important to environmental protection and protection against and mitigation of geological disasters for this mining area.Based on investigation of surface collapse area,the comprehensive treatment projects was studied from the angle of environmental protection and safety,and some effective safety measures have been took.The treatment and monitoring of surface,collapse pit and slope was carried out.The investment of the treatment projects over one year was up to six million yuan.The comprehensive treatment of surface ditch,collapse pit and slope has been fully implemented,this created conditions for the deep mining in the mining area.
