In this paper,the basic characteristics of underground mine and the requirements of underground communication are analyzed.The detailed analysis and comparison of various current underground communication systems are made also.A WIFI-based integrated communication system for underground mine was established,and has been applied in a certain copper mine,the transmission of voice,video and data in the same network has been realized,and the communication system is orderly operating currently.
