In view of the relation between development and potential degree of debris flow in metal mine,some major factors affecting the development of debris flow were comprehensively analyzed,and their membership function was determined.The weights coefficients of various influencing factors were determined using analytical hierarchy process,then the level of development potential of debris flow was assessed using fuzzy mathematical method.The assessed results could provide a basis for the prevention and control of debris flow in metal mine.
