Taking the integrated adjustment of mining process of the east and west mining section of Chengchao Iron Mine as the engineering background,a numerical mode was established with numerical calculate software FLAC,and five feasible schemes of mining process were designed.For the five feasible schemes,the maxima and minor principal stress,the distribution of plastic zone areas,the changes of vertical and horizontal displacement and the stress concentration factor of the support pillar in the east and west mining section were analyzed and compared.Keeping the drifting and stoping of east mining section are in step with ones of west mining section is determined as the optimal scheme.By the research,the stress and time control technology for roadway maintenance based on the distribution of ore-bearing rocks and the stress distribution after top exploitation was used to protect the safe operation of whole stope,the practice shows the method is effective.
