The development of circular economy is a necessary choice in constructing harmonious mining areas and realizing sustainable development in mining areas.The index system for the evaluation of circular economy is a main basis to evaluate the development quality of circular economy.According to the eight basic principles to establish the index system for the evaluation of development level of circular economy in uranium mines,a index system of the evaluation is established,which include twenty six indexes in three systems of management,environment and economy or in four ranks of overall level,system level,condition level and variable level.And a evaluation model for the development level of circular economy of uranium mines was proposed.
