Abstract:According to the conditions of engineering geology,the configuration and stabilization stability of slope and the goal of slope measurement in Changba open-pit,a integrated monitoring scheme of dynamic deformation of slope was put forward,which uses GPS as main tool.The integrated long-term monitoring of dynamic deformation of main slopes has been carried out by stages.Based on the deformation monitoring of slope,the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation of slope stability,it was predicted that the instability of the slip body near No.37 line in the north wall of the open-pit would happen in April 10~20,2007.In fact,at the beginning of May,2007,several landslide hazards of different scales occurred continuously.As taking the correspondingly emergency response plans,the possible safety accidents brought by the landslides to underground mining were avoided,consequently laying foundation for the safety in mining production.
