Based on the survey to the abandoned mines in Beijing,collected data and corresponding evaluation and analysis,a geologic information management system of abandoned mines has been developed.In the development of the system,integrated secondary development method with Mapobjects was adopted,and Visual Basic 6.0 was used as development platform,SQL2000 was used to construct attribute database system.The geologic information management system provides potent technical support for the the management and vegetation restoration of discarded mines in Beijing.
