The residue produced in zinc hydrometallurgy contains various valuable metals such as Cu,Zn,Cd,and contains lots of mud also,so it is difficult to recover these metals from the residue using conventional flotation.But wet leaching is an effective way at present.By large amount of condition experiments,iron powder was used to displace Cu,Zn powder was used to displace Cd,after such impurity metal as Fe,Al,Mn,were eliminated,a valuable production was obtained,resulting in good economic effect.
