Abstract:Recently, the heavy metal pollution of soil and plants has drawn great attention of human being. Therefore,it is extremely urgent how to monitor soil and plants with rapidly,exactly,real-timely and in a large area, which have been polluted by heavy metal in the different extent. This paper systematically analyzes the spectral characteristics of heavy metal copper contaminated soil polluted in virtue of experimental method, makes significance test on the spectral data. The result of variance analysis shows that monitoring copper contaminated soil directly by hyperspectral remote sensing is not feasible.
