The soil restructured by filling reclamation can greatly change the profile texture structure of original surface soil in coal mining area. The tests on soil samples took from the restructured soil by filling with fly ash or gangue and the original soil samples took from contrast area were carried out to reveal the influences of fly ash and gangue on the physical and chemical properties of reclaimed soil. The results showed that the physical and chemical properties of reclaimed soil are poorer, and the reclaimed soil is alkaline, the content of its organic matters, total nitrogen, available phosphorus and available kalium are lower than original surface soil, the moisture content of reclaimed soil is higher but the air-dried water is very low.
