Abstract:A study on a new reagents and new technology of flotation of a lead-antimony-zinc ore with high carbon content from Guangxi have been carried out.The results of study show that the addition of new frother(SNC) with polarity and collecting capability can effectively avoid the influence of carbonaceous gangue on the flotation of the ore,so can improve the effect of flotation and decrease the consumption of flotation reagents.The flotation recoveries of lead,antimony and argentine have been enhanced greatly by the combined use of thiophosphates and Y89.The marmatite containing in the ore can be depressed well by the combined use of sodium carbonate,zinc sulfate and sodium sulfite,as a result,the content of Zinc in the lead-antimony concentrate has been lowered.This new technology has been validated by the industrial scale test and applied to industrial production.
