According to the characteristics of mechanized panel and slice stoping with fill,as well as the Engineer Geological and environmental conditions in Jilongshan Gold Mine,the stope model of the mining method was established,and a numerical simulation was made on the excavation process.On the basis of the results obtained from numerical simulation,the sizes of room stope and pillar stope and the material ratio for cemented tailings backfilling have been optimized and determined.
