To satisfy the requirements of ventilation and cooling in the heading face in Dongguashan Copper Mine,the intensified ventilation design and the field experiments were carried out.The experiments indicated that intensified ventilation could short the time of blast fume exhaust,thus greatly enhance the work efficiency and evidently improve the operation environment.The research shows that larger ratio of high to width of tunnel is,better ventilation effect of heading face is.In local fan ventilation experiment the re-circulation factor R of polluted air is 0.366,the good exhaust effect of blast fume can be obtained by local fan ventilation.
