Mine rocky desertification,put forward firstly by professor Song Jianb of Guizhou University,is another type of rocky desertification which is coexisting with karst rocky desertification,is a gradually-exposing process and result of rock similar to desert scenes on earth's surface owing to the discharge of mine wastes(waste residue,waste liquid and waste gas).In this paper,the concept of mine rocky desertification is expatiated systemically,and its dangers are analyzed.On basis of comparing the differences between mine rocky desertification and karst rocky desertification,the significance of study on the control of mine rocky desertification is discussed.
