Some GM(1,1) models are established by gray system theory.They are used to forecast the intensities of the demand on energy minerals for primary,secondary and tertiary industries and urban and rural residents and the changes of population development and industrial frame in Shandong Province.Based on this,Shandong Province's demand on energy minerals in 2005,2010,2015 and 2020 is predicted by analyzing the demand of various industrial branches.Meanwhile,some suggestions on the sustainable development of energy industry for Shandong Province are made according to the forecast results.
