In order to quantitatively and comprehensively evaluation on the safety of coal mine,make the technology and management departments to know the safety trend in coal mining,and put forward effective safe management measures.This paper establishes the index system for coal mine safety assessment according to the influencing factors of coal mine safety,set up a comprehensive safety evaluation model for coal mine based on analytic hierarchy process(AHP).The model is validated by an appraisal example in the paper,and the evaluation results show that the method can improve the availability and accuracy of safety evaluation of coal mine,so more is accorded with the objective facts.
