Abstract:Mined-out area is one of major dangerous source to affect the safety in mining.The joints investigation of mined-out areas shows that structure surface is dominative factor of roof stability of mined-out area in Jiaguo Mine.The results of numerical analysis on mined-out area indicate that the roof at mined-out areas is unstable and the rock in the roof is easy to collapse in this mine.
