This paper analyzes the superiority of resources,industrial base,the comparative advantages of talented persons and technical progress in copper industry in Yunan province,takes out some basic cognition about the copper industry of Yunan province: the development of metallurgical technologies is speedy,but the development of mining technologies is relative slow and the development of deep processing technologies is very slow.This paper also brings forward the key fields and projects of technical development during the "11th Five-year Plan" period,in which mining technology should be developed greatly.
