The coal gangue is the inevitable byproduct in mining process,and the coal gangue piles is the primary source of pollution in mining area,has large impact on the eco-environment of mining area and its surrounding.The effective approach to lessen the pollution of coal gangue piles and improve the eco-environment of mining area is the greening of coal gangue dump.This article summarizes the hazards of coal gangue dump,and analyses and discusses the greening technology of coal gangue dump,so as to offer the help to vegetation restoration and eco-rehabilitation of coal gangue dump.
