Abstract:The permeability of ore-bearing layer is an important factor affecting in-situ leaching of uranium. The column leaching experiments of ore for the in-situ leaching of uranium in some uranium mine in Xinjiang are carried out,in which the affect of surfactant on the permeability of the ore-bearing layer is studied. The experimental results show that appropriate surfactant added into leaching solution can improve obviously the permeability coefficient of ore-bearing layer, especially, the permeability coefficient of low permeability ore can be increased over 30%-40%.It has important significance to improving the leaching rate of uranium and the recovery rate of resources.
