In light of the fact that some Pb-Zn sulphide ore has the characteristics of fine dissemination size,close intergrowth and high slime-content,after comparing many schemes,a new flotation flowsheet for the Pb-Zn sulphide ore,which consists of preferential flotation of lead using dibutyl ammonium dithiophosphate as collector,the depression of sphalerite using a combined depressant of sodium carbonate and zinc sulfate,the flotation of zinc from the lead tailings using lime milk as regulating pH-adjusting reagent and CuSO4 as activator and butyl xanthate as collector,was adopted and test,the effective separation of lead and zinc was achieved successfully,resulting in good flotation indexes.
