The key of deep-hole springing blasting is how to expand a suitable cavity by explosion.The first hole-springing explosion is the base of the follow-up hole-springing explosion,the charge weight of first springing has a directional bearing on the total effect of hole-springing explosion.In the paper,the charge weight is discussed using the energy method,and the charge weight of the first hole-springing explosion is determined for deep-hole springing blasting.The experiment carried uot in the Wulongquan Limestone Mine expresses the determined weight is reasonable and would be used to guide the actual cavity hole-springing explosion.
