Based on the primary parameters of flexible pipe transporting system in deep-sea mining,the analogical theory used to analyze the mechanical characteristics of mineral transporting pipe with experiments is established.According to the theory,one transporting pipe model is selected to do mechanical tests and the corresponding mechanical analysis with finite element method is conducted.The consistence of the results from two ways improves that finite element method is suitable for the mechanics analysis of the soft pipe transporting systems in deep-sea mining.
