The high pressure water descaling system plays a decisive role in the surface quality of steel plates during producing hot rolled steel plates.This paper presents some successful experiences and practices in the design and application of high pressure water descaling system of the middle-thick plate mill in Jiangyin Xicheng Iron & Steel Co.Ltd,which is helpful to and provides references for the design,manufacture,and installation of high pressure water descaling system.
