Abstract:In view of the present state of safety in production of China's collieries, based on object-oriented programming technology and the theory of modeling, a safety management information system for colliery has been developed through modeling of the system structure with Unified Modeling Language (UML). UML as a standard modeling language for the field of software engineering can supply identical model for the realization of software in the process of software development. The actual example shows that this method not only can ensure the successful development of information system, but also improve the reliability of developed system and shorten the period of developing system.
