In alpine region, the labour ability of human lowers because of oxygen deficiency, low atmospheric pressure and boiling point of water, as well as the running efficiency of equipments is lower, the service life of equipments is short. In light of the characteristics of alpine region, strip stoping method was adopted, which ore was blasted with sort-hole and No.2 rock explosive as well as the broken ore was transported by wheelbarrow, during the mining practice in Tibetan autonomous region, and good mining results had been achieved.
