As the resources and available spaces within the terrestrial system are decreasing, the role of sea playing as a support system to the social and economic developments and even life is becoming much more significant. This paper first analyses the worldwide distribution of major deep-sea ore resources, the current situation of the exploitation of deep-sea resources and its future strategy in China. Then based on these, it puts forward three operating modes of the industrial exploitation of deep-sea resources for the future in China: the commercialization exploitation under government's leading, the exploitation by multi-capital operation and the exploitation by Sino-foreign cooperation, finally gives some policy suggestions for the industrial exploitation of deep-sea resources for the future in China.
