In this paper, the chemical composition of bauxite, the characteristics of the mineral composition, the behavior of silicon and titanium in the processes of pre-desiliconization, pre-heating, dissolving and stripping separation are discussed. Taking the Bayer concentration process as an example in Zhongzhou Aluminum plant, the author illustrates the technological rationality of the treatment of monohydrate drasportite type bauxite using the dual flow concentration process.
