Abstract:It has been discovered in experiments that Sb(V) and As(V) can lead to the formation of arsenical antimonic acid during the refinery process of copper electrolysis. The arsencial animonic acid will continue to form salts of As(III), Sb(III) and Bi(III) contained in the electrolytic solutions. The As(III), Sb(III) and Bi(III) in the salts will separate in the strong acidic solution containing [(Cl)(-)(1)]. Using this property of the arsenical antimonates, a new absorbent has been compounded, which shows a good selectivity to As, Sb and Bi in the copper electrolytic solutions and which can be recycled [(for use.)0( )][(
