A novel Mechanical Vapour Recompression (MVR) technology scheme for the technical transformation of vapour unit was selected in the first phase technical transformation project with the aim of increasing 5000t production in the Aluminum Oxide Plant of Guanxi Branch, China Aluminum Industry Corp., and the analysis and solutions to the problems appearing in the process of test-run were introduced. The results of production operation showed that the application of MVR technology in the first phase technical transformation project of the Aluminum Oxide Plant of the company was successful.
