This paper introduces the unique superiority of data mining technique based on the theory of rough sets in obtaining knowledge from unknown fields, then analyzes many data related to the stability of rock slopes. Through these analyses, the useful rules of decision-making have been obtained from the unsystematic data, thus the accurate evaluation of slope stability can be achieved.
