Abstract:By using stress-relief method, the strata stresses were measured at two measuring points: in -550 m level and -650 m level of the deep orebody in Fankou Lead-zinc Mine, and their values and directions were calculated. The results have shown that the stress field of the deep orebody of Fankou Lead-zinc Mine is a tectonic stress field, the three principal strata stresses are all compressive stresses, and the major principal stress is an approximately horizontal stress which almost parallels to the orebody strike, and the ratio of the major principal stress and vertical stress is from 1.02 to 1.7.
