WAP is a group of wireless application protocols which the mobile communication equipment are connected to Internet. The connection of mobile communication equipment to Internet resorts to mobile network, dialup server/ remote landing server and WAP network gateway. The implementing process of WAP telecommunication and its configuration as well as functions and uses of WAP network gateway are described in this paper.
