The pyrite mine is located in the southeast Hubei Province. Properties of the ore are quite different from those of pyrite found in the surrounding areas. Through an experimental study on the dressing and production practice, the original copper concentration flowsheet was replaced with a combined flotational and magnetic concentration flowsheet, which concentrates sulfur and iron. Desirable results have been achieved.
