Based on PowerBuilder 7.0 and SQL Server 2000, a cost management information system has been developed for the underground mining workshop of Jinshandian Iron Mine. The cost management MIS has functions of featuring data inquiring, form building, statistics analyzing and graph displaying, and has been put to use successfully. This paper presents the development conception, development tools, implementation of the system along with the key programming techniques adopted in the development process.
