From the broad viewpoint of sustainable development, the concepts of sustainable development and sustainability of a mining district are defined in this paper. The various systems in the mining district are discussed and an integrated emulation system is established, the core of which is the system dynamic model.The emulation system is used to dynamically analyze the sustainability of the Yongzhou mining district. Key issues affecting the implementation of the sustainable development strategy of the mining district are identified and practical measures are proposed regarding the implementation of the strategy.
