Abstract:In order to evaluate the rockmass quality of the No.10 orebody in Huize Lead-Zinc Mine so as to provide basis for the selection of mining method,the engineering geological conditions of the No.10 orebody is dealt with, then the wall rocks of the orebody is evaluated and classified using the RMR classification method, the Q system classification method and the BQ classification method respectively.After the classification study, the results obtained using the RMR and Q system classification methods are recommended as basis for evaluation of the rockmass quality. Classification results indicate that the rockmass quality of the mining area of the No.10 orebody ranges from being poor to moderate and the stability of the rockmass is above the moderate level.
