Abstract:In Anqing Copper Mine, about 50,000 t iron concentrate is recovered each year from the de-sulfuring foam of the tailings. The concentrate, due to its high sulfur content which would cause environmental problems, is not acceptable to iron-steel works. Although it is useful for coal dressing, it faces fierce marketing competition. This paper discussed the state-of-arts of the marketing of sulfur-rich concentrate, proposed a new marketing strategy. Desirable results were obtained.
