Abstract:The development drifts in Chengchao Iron Mine once were flooded. The mechanical mechanism and fundamental characteristics of the wall rocks after flooding are discussed through finite numerical simulation in rock mechanics, with emphasis on stress change, failure area distribution and displacement variation of the wallrocks under support. Reliable theoretical basis is provided for in-situ support design which offers significant reference value.
