In Anqing Copper Mine, the extra-large room stopes in the west area of the -400m to 510m level are mined out using a double-benched mining system. Thereafter, recovery of pillars, linkage of upper and lower stopes at the -510 level as well as the mining sequence are studied. As a result, a mining system with rooms and pillars laid out correspondingly while staggering the stoping process is proposed. Technological measures are put forward with regard to actual stoping.
