The Simba 261 DTH drill offers such advantages as high efficiency, low energy consumption and operating safety. In the drilling process, however, abnormal jamming of drilling tools occurs occasionally. In this paper, causes for the jamming are discussed and control measures are proposed. It is shown that these measures are very effective and can readily deal with jamming incidents.
