By analyzing the cause and mechanism of spontaneous fire hazards in sulfide deposits,the authors discussed the identifying indices for oxidative spontaneous combustion of sulphide ore and enumnerated various preventive and controlling measures or methods for fire hazards.These methods offer reference value to guiding prevention and control of fire hazards of this kind.
