Shaft repair is a very difficult work,especially to the operating shafts.Their repair is even more difficult.In the light of the damage characteristic of No.2 new shaft,this paper analyzed the causes of damage and discussed the making of repair scheme,the setting-up of operating plateform and some special safety measures which should be adopted in accordance with the geological conditions of No.2 new shaft.
